Find What Anchors Your Heart

A safe space for your heart to find anchors to navigate the waves of grief & challenges in life.

What we do

Our specialty is supporting people integrate grief into their life story and build thriving relationships with themselves and others. We help young adults, and adults move beyond various life’s struggles towards wholeness, secure relationships, healing of hurts & growth.

Anchors keep us steady in the storms and difficulties of life. Anchors in our lives enable us to find our grounding. They grow, expand, and strengthen our capacity to navigate life’s challenges.

At Anchored Hearts Counselling and Grief Therapy, it is our vision that you will find what anchors your heart through the process of therapy.

We offer virtual and evidence-based counselling and grief therapy in Greater Vancouver, the Tri-Cities (Coquitlam and Port-Coquitlam), the Fraser Valley and anywhere in the province of British Columbia to people ages 19 and above.

Our Values

  • We show compassionate care and love through conveying non-judgment, acceptance, kindness, patience, respect, empathy, validation of grief and emotions and affirmation of needs.

  • We believe that the essence of our work as therapist is our presence - we desire to be fully present to people’s pain and grief. We honour the stories of the people we are walking alongside with.

  • We believe that cultivating safe connections and relationships is the key to growing our capacity to be with our grief and not just survive, but thrive in the midst of life’s challenges.

“…when we are frightened and in pain, we need others with whom we can be honest. We need to reach out to someone who is safe, who will not judge, who will not shut down or shun our pain.”
